Today, I learned how to do a realistic hand sculpt in order to understand more about human anatomy and proportion.
I tried to set up the proportion right in Maya and understood more now about all the naming of each part of our hand and even the sizing of them.
This is when I bring the hand base into zBrush and dynamesh it.
I received a couple of feedbacks from Heath.
- The proportion of the finger is incorrect.
- The gap between each finger should determine where they’re facing to. At the moment it doesn’t look realistic.
From that feedbacks, I tried to redo the hand and now it’s still working in progress. Will post up the result and (probably) another feedback.
